Spiritual vs. Religious

According to Deepak Chopra, “Religion is cultural mythology. Spirituality is self awareness. They have nothing in common.”

Short and Sweet…Was does being Spiritual vs. being Religious mean to you? I would love to see your responses to this question.

  1. It is difficult to improve on Deepak’s aphorism. A local female newspaper columnist is upset by people who say they are spiritual, and believe in a Higher Power, “but don’t go to church.” Chopra sees it. I see it! Why doesn’t she?! 😕

  2. I absolutely agree that it would be difficult to improve upon Deepak Chopra. My question to you is “What is it you see him saying in this?”. Now, remember as you read this I am a Life Coach and will dig deep to get to the core so please, indulge me.
